Checking the AI’s work in ten minutes
AI tools sound sure of themselves even when they’re wrong. A short routine catches most mistakes.
Numbers
Check two figures by hand against the source.
Names and dates
Anything specific about a real person, place or date: look it up.
Claims
Ask it where each claim came from. If it can’t say, treat it as unchecked.
Tone
Read it aloud. Would you send it with your name on it?
