Direction 2 of 5
Signal
Fast and competent: you see the state of everything at a glance and know exactly what to do next.
For: The people who run it day to day: Gary, Johnnie and the tutors on the staff board, and company admins chasing their colleagues.
Type
Hours, hand-ins and sign-offs, kept in one place
Hand in what you did and a short reflection. Your hours count as soon as you hand in; your tutor then accepts the work or asks for changes, and both are kept on your record.

Why this could be trainrs
trainrs is an operations tool before it is a classroom: nine onboarding tasks per company, assignees, reminders, a staff board, verify buttons. Signal handles that density best, with tables and crisp status chips that scale from one company to fifty. It is also the quickest to build well, because it is the look most interface parts are designed for.
Risk: Dense and businesslike: tiring and a little cold for a once-a-week learner, and it looks like many other software products.
